For this project, I selected the PowerPress Podcasting plugin to manage and display my podcast content. I chose this plugin because it is widely used, and beginner friendly. It also provides an easy way to embed audio directly into blog posts.

To record my podcast, I used OBS Studio. I selected this software because it is free, easy to install, and allows for high quality audio recording. OBS Studio also provides flexibility for future projects, such as video recording or streaming.

One challenge I experienced was getting comfortable speaking clearly and naturally while recording. It took a few attempts to avoid mistakes. Another challenge was ensuring the audio exported correctly as an MP3 file so it could be uploaded to WordPress. Despite these challenges, creating a podcast was a valuable experience. Podcasts allow websites to offer content in a different format, which can appeal to users who prefer listening instead of reading. This can increase engagement and make the website more interactive. I believe podcasts are a great addition to any website because they provide another way to communicate information and connect with users.
