Categories and Tags

Categories and tags are both used to organize blog posts in WordPress. Categories are meant for broad organization and help define the main sections of a website. Most posts usually belong to one or a few categories, which makes it easier for visitors to navigate the site and find related content.

Tags are more specific and act like keywords that describe what a post is about in more detail. A single post can have several tags that highlight smaller topics within the content. Tags also help connect similar posts and improve search visibility. For my website, I plan to use categories to organize my main content areas and tags to describe specific topics within each post, making the site easier to explore and more user friendly.
