While building The Boneyard, I implemented a variety of features designed to improve both functionality and visual appeal. However, the single most important feature on the site is the way content is visually presented. This website focuses on fossils and archaeology, images play a crucial role in how information is communicated. A well organized layout that combines text with visuals makes the content more engaging and easier to understand. Features such as image galleries, featured images, and structured post layouts help guide attention. Instead of overwhelming visitors with large blocks of text, the content is broken up into sections that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. This approach improves readability and keeps users engaged for longer periods of time. It also makes the site feel more professional and polished. In the end, even the best content can be overlooked if it isn’t presented well. That’s why I believe visual presentation is the most important feature it directly affects how users experience and interact with the site.
